ABOUT LIFESPRINGS
Building God's Kingdom for over 100 years

We're on a mission
A PROUD HISTORY
A mission for God
For over 100 years, LifeSprings has remained committed to building God’s kingdom with Christ-centered resources for churches, homes, and individuals. We are inspired by John 4:14 to share the truth of Scripture, knowing that it is only through the Word that we find “life everlasting.”
Thus, it is our privilege to create, produce, and provide resources that foster Bible literacy and Christian formation as we seek to make the name of Jesus known wherever He leads.
Building God's Kingdom for over 100 years
LifeSprings Resources Established
LifeSprings Resources was originally established in 1919 as “The Publishing House,” a division of the Pentecostal Holiness Church, now known as the International Pentecostal Holiness Church, Inc (IPHC). Initially housed in what is now Nash Hall on the campus of Emmanuel University. Rev. George Floyd Taylor founded the publishing house to provide printed materials for the denomination, which included a magazine and a line of Sunday School curriculum.
LifeSprings Moves
In 1949, it became apparent that the publishing house for the denomination had outgrown the building that had housed it since 1919. Robert E. Robinson, the manager of the publishing house, proposed a new deal with the president of Emmanuel College. In November of that year, the publishing house was moved to “the old college building,” also known as The Franklin Springs Institute.
Bigger & Better
In 1959, under the leadership of Dallas M. Tarkenton, The Publishing House moved to its current location on Hwy 29 in Franklin Springs, GA. The same year, the name of the IPHC’s publishing division was changed to Advocate Press.
New Leadership
The IPHC Board had asked Mr. Tarkenton of Publications to assume the duties of editor-in-chief and general administrator of the publishing house. He was followed in leadership by Charles Bradshaw in 1961 and Greg Hearn in 1991.
A New Name
The name of the IPHC’s publishing division was changed to LifeSprings Resources in 1995. In 2013, Springs Media, LLC, a subsidiary of Community Services Group, Inc. (CSG), purchased the business operations of LifeSprings and continued to provide publishing and printing services to the IPHC and numerous other church and commercial clients.
A Renewed Mission
Today, LifeSprings operates under the tradenames LifeSprings Christian Resources, LifeSprings Media, and Jagged Rock Media. Greg Hearn is the CEO of CSG, the parent company, and Scott Benson is the Administrator of LifeSprings.
Despite numerous changes over the years, the publication of Sunday school and other Christian education materials has continued uninterrupted. LifeSprings currently provides print and motion graphic design services, a full-service printing press and bindery, on-demand digital printing, and a full-service video production studio and soundstage.
